500ml bottle, 3.Mar.2012 Slightly hazy amber body, with small head that rapidly diminishes and leaves patchwork on top and glass. Very pleasant and rich aroma, sea, citrus black elder flowers, buttercup, chervil and wet grass after rain. This impression is mirrored also in taste. Very smooth and well balanced. With grilled stockfish dinner @ Arctandria, Tromsø.

Mørk farge. Én finger stort off-white hode. Lite aroma. Lite til medium kullsyre. Tung. Lang bitter ettersmak. Mye alkohol. Litt for sterk alkoholbruk. Søt. Noe citrus. Ananas? Litt bunnfall. Alkoholsmaken drepte ølen litt. Ikke spesielt god

Butelka z datą: 15.03.2018, #1605.
WYGLĄD: Barwa złota, zmętnione. Piana drobna, niska.
AROMAT: Dość intensywny. Dominują cytrusy, a konkretnie grejpfrut. W tle lekka nuta ziołowa oraz akcenty trawiasto-łodygowe. W tle lekka kanaliza.
SMAK: Wytrawne, chmielowe. Posmak cytrusowo-łodygowy. Goryczka wysoka, nieco zalegająca. Alkohol dobrze wkomponowany
OGÓLNIE: Gdyby nie wada w aromacie ocena byłaby z pewnością minimalnie wyższa.

Draught at La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Slightly opaque gold with decent lacing. Sweet resin hops of a DIPA. A hint of citrus then a huge punch of pine. Quite boozy fr the abv

Looks..murky orange tan, sml head. Smells..not huge for an iipa... piney, stonefruit, some apricot maybe and thick rich caramel. Tastes..huge and heavy stonefruits, boozy, chewy caramel, resinous bitterness.. Little carbonation making it seem heavier the the 8.5% abv.

A 500ml bottle from batch #1328 with a best before date of 15th December 2016 and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It poured a clear dark amber orange colour with a one finger off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aromas of heavy citrus orange and grapefruit with a hint of floralness and caramel. Tastes sweet-ish pineapple and grapefruit hop bitterness with some light caramel malt. The grapefruit bitterness sticks around for a while. Medium bodied with light to medium carbonation. Overall, a pretty decent Double IPA with good lasting bitterness. It’s still well within its best before date, but I have to wonder if a fresher bottle would be even more impressive.

So I love IPA, especially the stronger ones with loads of dimensions. This one was reassurring all the way. Really well balanced aromas and flavors and all in all delicious all the way.

Wazig goudblond bier met wit schuim. Geur: moutzoetig, zweterig, hond, hooi, kaas. Smaak: ik lust wel goed bitter, 100 IBU leuk, maar hier wringt de bitterheid toch wat, ook wat leder en droog. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel. Vooral spijtig wat de geur betreft.

Golden yellow colour. Medium white head. Sweetness, apricots, pineapple in the aroma. Pineapple at first. Crisp mouthfeel, lots of orangecore in the middle. Citrussy finish. Pineapple and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Bit sweet, rather medium bodied, quite well balanced DIPA. But something bothers me here. Probably too much pineapple. Otherwise descent brew.
