500ml bottle, 3.Mar.2012 Slightly hazy amber body, with small head that rapidly diminishes and leaves patchwork on top and glass. Very pleasant and rich aroma, sea, citrus black elder flowers, buttercup, chervil and wet grass after rain. This impression is mirrored also in taste. Very smooth and well balanced. With grilled stockfish dinner @ Arctandria, Troms.

Beautiful pale amber colour - slightly cloudy. Thin white head with ok lacing. Amazing citrus fruit aroma with an additional hint of honey. Tasting a dark honey initial taste with a slightly woody middle. Citrus and bitter pine dominate the end. Nice and thick palate - good carbonation and good mouth coat.

Aroma of malt, pineapple, oranges, grapefruits and hops. Bitter grapefruite taste and hops at the beginning, sweeter middle part and a long bitterdry finish. All in all a good beer, but the bitterness of this one is not refreshing at ale and kinda too overwhelming. Overrated for what it is.

Bottle. Aroma elderflower, overall flowery, light resiny. Clear amber colour with reddish tint. Taste has nicely balanced intense bitterness and decent sweet backbone. Citrus, orange, resiny. Tasty. Very good. Long hoppy finish.

Barwa: bursztynowa, wyraźnie zmętniona. Piana biała, drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, początkowo obfita, dość szybko opada, ale ładnie oblepia szkło. Aromat: słodowy (herbatniki z karmelem), wyraźnie alkoholowy oraz chmielowy cytrusy (wśrd ktrych dominują mandarynki) oraz zioła. Smak: zdecydowanie pełny, słodowy, ale raczej wytrawny i alkoholowy początek. Następnie chmielowa kontra z goryczką powyżej średniej, głwnie ziołowa i nieco łodygowa, zielona, trochę zalegająca.

pours dark hazy copper. Aroma is funky, notes of fruit and pine. Bitter with a Belgian yeast background. Fruity with notes of lemon a nice amount of hops and funk on the finish. Medium body light carbonation.

Flaa. Tmavo oranov farba, krsna biela pena, dlho drala. Vňa sladk, ovocn, jemne karamelov tny a broskyne. Taktie ctiť alkohol. V chuti sladkosť, kvetinov a ovocn tny, grapefruit, trvovosť a zemitosť. Telo pln, pekn vyvenosť sladkosti a horkosti. Veľmi pitn, ale alkohol je dosť citeľn.

Bottle, thnx to Cunningham. Pours a deep dark amber beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is very malty, lots of caramel ams citric notes. No real complexity in the aroma, its just nice. Flavor is nice and bittersweet, nice bitter grapefruit with some honey like malty influences. Nice, light bitter fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, decent mouthfeel, very nice beer.

The head on this beer lives a life on its own. Incredibly big and rising more than what one is used to. Beautiful hazy orange beer and lasting head. Not the strongest aroma but quality with grapefruit. This brewery is probably Norways best and one of the best in the world. I was expecting just a bit more of this, but it is very good. This one was bottled 2,5 months ago, maybe it would have been even sharper if I had it 1 month ago. Not too bitter, not too sweet.

nogne two captains pours a very hazy apple juice dark amber. It has a very thick head of off white bubbles. The nose is initially of wild honey, not overly sweet but full of clover blooms and tantalizing restrained sweetness. After the honey is a very mild hop presence, perhaps citrus or cedar, its a bit hard to discern. Taste is initially a bit funky and minerally, this fades as the restrained honey presence takes over mid swallow before resolving into a very light kiss of hops at the end. The Body is fluid and subtle with a kiss of bubbles. I think the appropriate term for this beer is subtle. From the nose to the finish its less about pure power and more about hints and whisps. Quite an atypical double IPA. Amazing. thoroughly enjoyable. I wish I had a few more.
