3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown with off-white head. Aroma is clove, malt, very gingery and other christmas spices Taste is very spicy with the same spices. Not my kind of beer, the spices are overrunning the maltyness and hoppyness.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2014 Bottle 50 CL. Pours dark brown with white brown head and an spicy scent. Notes of clover, some spices, some cinnamon, gingerbread. The clover and some other odd herb or spicy taste is too strong in this. Stinging harsh taste which would need something to balance it out for example some more hops. Kind of weird beer. Not too enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - under the Peculiar Yule moniker. Murky copper pour with a short tan head. Aroma is very herbal and spicy. Gingerbread, herbs, licorice notes, spice and caramel in the nose and follows with the flavor profile. There’s a weird minty note to this as well. Maybe chocolate covered peppermint??? Or peppermint in a gingerbread cookie?? Very odd but not off-putting. Body is medium with a soft feel and light carbonation. Ends with more herbal notes, spices, light licorice, chocolate, gingerbread and caramel notes.

Brown half litre bottle 6.5abv, brewed aug-2013 #1008/1011C, b@vinmonopolet, enjoyed now.
Nice fluffy beige-apricotish head, laceworks, on dark clear ruby body.
Rich scents of licorice-chocolate-coffee malts, spices, ginger, fir tree, cumin.
Tastes lots of chocolate malts, cocoa and coffee, cough drops, anise, cloves, fir tree, yule hops.
Smooth and gentle tasty to palate. Compared to the start and taste, a quite mild final with yule bread, spicy hops, warmth, candies, chocolate aso.
Overall really comforting for kind nice gentle men who want a tasty companion.
