2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
50 cL bottle. Pours brown and slight reddish hazy. Head is dense light brown head. Soapy ginger aroma. Mild liqourice base to a ginger flavour on top. Ginger dominantly and with a mild cardemomme note. Ends the same way as the ginger remains dominant. To heavy on the ginger but otherwise not bad, but me and ginger in beer is a no-match.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A red-brown beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is extremely spicy and sweet with cloves standing out. The flavor is also very sweet and totally dominated by cloves. There is a lot of Christmas in this one - maybe a bit too much for my liking.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy dark brown with a vague tint of orange and an off-white head that leaves quite some lacewórk. The aroma is spicy with ginger - and perhaps mint - sticking out. Body is medium with some roasted and perhaps even a little burned malts. Again plenty of spices, ginger and something reminding me of cola nut! Some bitterness from both hops and malts rounds this eccentric brew off. I have a hard time finding out if I really dig this, but one thing is for certain, it’s a beer that lives up to its name: "Weird Christmas". 080807

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black color. Crazy aroma: sweet, spices (cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom), lemon peel. Spicy, malty flavor; caramel, Fernet Branca… An odd mix!
(I should try warm)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2007 Unclear nut brown with creamy off white head. Christmas spices - cinnamon, cardamom & coriander & hops. Cookies! And then a mint taste that dominates the picture. Filling with a medium carbonation. Good product, but on this one I have to say, personally, that the mint/cinnamon is not my cup of tea. But thats really just a matter of taste!
