COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Belgian Ale is what you could call a wit with an attitude. We are generous with all our ingredients - including both orange peel and coriander. This does not stop this ale from being a good companion with seafood dishes.

Recommended serving temperature 8°C/45°F.

11P 20 IBU 4,5% ABV.

500ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a white head. Marmalade and spice feature in the very enticing aroma. Spicy and fruity taste with orange, banana and hops combining nicely. The finish is spicy, fruity and slightly soapy. Enjoyable.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2010 This was my first real "epiphany" in the craft beer world. A fantastically balanced hoppy, fruity beauty which, like your favorite pornstar, never fails to fulfill! Its golden hazy appearance is wonderful and the sweetness/bitterness balance is great! Aroma is floral with lots of coriander and some vanilla notes and a general fruitiness. It’s very rich and satisfying, very very well balanced and so drinkable it’s scary.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Pours a hazy light orange body crowned with a dense, foamy white head. Smell is very sweet, with cinnamon and clove as main components. Taste is also sweet, with wheat, clove and a lingering grassy hop bitterness in the background to balance the whole thing. Very drinkable. refreshing and simply surprisingly delicious; this must be my favorite Nøgne Ø brew for the Norwegian commercial store market so far.

A hazed golden wit with a thin creamy white head. Aroma of orange peels, light cloves and madera. In mouth, cloves and oily malt, spices remain well in mouth, herbaceous, still in good shape. BB 04-07-09. Tasted March 31 2010.

0,5 l bottle via Lubiere, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Batch 295, BB 040709.

App.: Slightly hazy deep golden with a moderate-small white head. Aroma: Perfumed, earthy coriander, some yeast, bright citrus, light esters and a touch of Saison-like bitter herbals. Palate: Medium+ body, sparse effervescence. Flav.: Much like the nose but a little more harsh, more bitter herbs, pine/peppery/green hops; slightly off-dry with surprising bitterness for the style and an earthy, slightly dusty citrus finish.

A bit different for the style. Held up well with age!

Pale yellow color. Corriander and wheat without the bite on the aroma. Similar flavor.
