First impression has considerable bitterness, which quickly fades. Aroma is dry, has flavors of citrus and hops. Quickly diminishing head. A superb white beer!
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 abstractbeer (170) - NORWAY - MAY 7, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2010 This was my first real "epiphany" in the craft beer world. A fantastically balanced hoppy, fruity beauty which, like your favorite pornstar, never fails to fulfill! Its golden hazy appearance is wonderful and the sweetness/bitterness balance is great! Aroma is floral with lots of coriander and some vanilla notes and a general fruitiness. It’s very rich and satisfying, very very well balanced and so drinkable it’s scary.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cunningham (1754) - Halden, NORWAY - OCT 24, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2012 On bottle from local grocery store. A hazy pale yellow bodt with a white head. A wonderful aroma with citrus and coriander. A fine blend of yeast, wheat, citrus adn coriander in the flavour. If they lifted this beer 1% ABV it would have been perfect I belive. Stupid Norwegian rules will stop that

Scandinavian Beer Night. Thanks to Akevitt for pulling this tasting together and all the gems! Hazy gold color with a thin head. Aroma of coriander, sweet orange and light wheat. Light coriander taste, lots of wheat. Quite yeasty. A perfumy finish. Very thick.

Thanks to Akevitt for sharing. coriander, wheat, and citrus aroma. Same in the flavor, but there are some hops in here. Bright color, cloudy yellow. A medium sweet wit, with all of the classic flavors and the interesting addition of the hops. Very good.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Wit used to be my favourite beer style from around 1999-2002; this is reminiscent of how I recall those days of Hoegaarden, Brugs Wit etc. Nice lemon, chalkiness and fizz which provides dry freshness. Some pleasant sweet spice too. Great balance and refreshment.
