Clear orange beer with a one finger white head. Aroma: Absolutely nothing. Taste: very similar to aroma, only some weird taste can be tasted, but I don’t know what it is, but it isn’t good. I have read that quality of this particular beer changes a lot. Sometimes it’s good, and sometimes it’s very bad. Last time I had this beer, I remember it tasted a bit fruity, sweet, but when now reviewed, it’s very different beer than it was last time.

Slightly haze, brown body, a bit towards copper colour with a small, white, frothy head. Aroma is very typical to Finnish lager although malt is somewhat stronger in this one. Some hops in the background but mostly it has light aroma of grass and pine. Taste has surprisingly strong flavours, plenty of hops and bitterness. It’s actually quite good given that it’s only 4.2%ABV. Soft and tingly mouthfeel, medium carbonation, very pleasant on the tongue. Overall it’s pretty good for a Finnish supermarket beer.

Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki. Keg. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, a slight grain and spice vibe. Modest orange citric hop. A little soap. Light semi dry finish. Would have just about passed muster without the soap but with that off note, falls short.

0,5l can from supermarket. Pours hazy and golden, with nice creamy white head. Some yeast in the bottom of glass. Mild hoppy aroma with citrus and fruits. Caramel Sweetness from malts. Medium to soft carbonation. The usual solid bitter aftertaste present in most pale ale’s. Good.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a decent head. Malty and fruity aroma with notes of peach, mango and grapefruit. A hint of pine aroma too. Taste is quite mild with sweetish malts and caramel combined with dryish citrus and hay. Pleasantly crispy finish. Mild but well-balanced and refreshing brew. (0,5 l can, bb 07/05/16)

Can. Golden, cloudy, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light - some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, light piney - grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light -some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, light piney- grapefruit hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint fruitiness, light - some piney hoppyness. In the finish bitterness gets sharp and bit soapy. Finish lacks fruitiness. This one used to be better. Nice head though.

50cl can. Clear golden pour with thin white head, some lacing. Aromas of spruce, citrus and stale bread. Taste is bitter and dry, but weak - needs more body. Aftertaste is fresh and clean and bitter. Average bulk apa, satisfactory.
