Plus to Bio. Unfiltered beer. Not very special taste. Hay barn, candy, licorice. Bitterness OK. Sign of good balance hops. O’Kay, not more.

Marstonlad (418) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2014
Pours amber with a little white head. Aroma is malty with notes of grain and bread with a hint of herbal hoppiness. Taste is very light bitter, hops do not really push through. Pale, clean maltiness dominates; flavours include cereal and grain. The palate is light, the carbonation lively. Very simple but decent companion for food, for example.

Can. Aroma has grass, grain and some malt. Taste has grain, hay, malt and yeast. Body is a bit watery. Aftertaste is ok, on the bitter side.

Zarkam (417) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2014
500ml can, slightly hazy light orange colour, small white mostly lasting frothy head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of hay and fruit, some floral hops. Taste is initially balanced bittersweet and gets more bitter towards the somewhat longer than average finish with a moderately astringent feel. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite a bit more pleasant compared to their lager albeit somewhat similar. Not a bad purchase as they are one of the few if not the only smallish brewery in Finland that doesn’t want over 6€/l for their products in every retail outlet.

Grain, bread, and floral hoppiness. Has a good head that lasts long. Good carbonation. A very refreshing and fresh pils.

Hazy yellow beer with head staying on the sides. Grassy hops with malty honey, a promising start! Grassy hops, barley malts but the after taste isn’t that good. Crispy mouth feel. Nice organic pils anyway.

kokonaisuus jätti kylmäksi. sameahko ja kullankeltainen, vaahto häviää nopeasti. suutuntuma hiilihappoinen ja ihan ok. raikkaaksi välipalaolueksi löytyy paljon parempiakin vaihtoehtoja..

djoeye (1481) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2013
50cl alu-can imported from Kilpisjärvi FI. Vague scents of grain, spruces, hay. Pours a low steady white head on the golden hazy (unfiltered) body. Though scents were vague, taste is much more distinct, with a spicy touch of fruity malty wheats. Well balanced bitterness as mouthfeel, and palate and aftertaste is dry with notes of burnt bun, dark syrup, ash, dark cocoa. Overall interesting, a good alternative for those who appreciate a beer with a decent touch of bitterness.
