2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Looks, smells, and tastes exactly as you would expect a blonde ale to. Thoroughly average beer, but works pretty well while walking around New Orleans on a 95 degree day.

Pale gold. Simple malt aroma with some light fruit and a bit of higher
alcohols. Some slight sweetness. Entirely forgettable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at D.B.A. Brew was a bit more tart than I would like. Also was kind of hazy, which I found odd for a blond ale. Hop presence was minimal and maltiness was more a sweet mellow taste, nothing interesting. Patty liked it more than me.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Markey’s, New Orleans tap: Pours light golden with white head. Aroma is pale malts, a hint of hops, some dough. Taste is much as would be expected. It was really mild, but had a nice and creamy texture to it that contributed to easy drinking. Not bad.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft on tap at the brewery (New Orleans, LA). Pours a nice hazy dulled golden grainy hue. A gentle touch of glow but a bit flabby in color. Frothy creamy offwhite head atop stays as a decent layer, ok lacing overall. Aromas are a bit grainy and earthy, subtle bread dough, straw and kiss of citrusy orange. A bit of floral, bread yeast and gentle sweetness. Faint coriander. Initial is similar, lighter end of the fold in body with cleaner malt bill. Safe bready malts, a bit of cereal grain and dry gentle yeastiness into the back meet some gentle hop character, faint waft of orange and subtle kiss of coriander peeks in at times unannounced. Cleaner, refreshing, was an easy one to find at the bars around town. Solid enough lighter offering from the local brewer.
