Everybody love a blonde, right? We think you’ll agree, our blonde is a Bombshell. With five different malts, and two mouth-watering hops, we’ve created the perfect blend of bitter, yet sweet…just the way we like it. This flagship beer always pours with the perfect head to excite all of the senses.

On tap at local bar. Brew was a bit more tart than I would like. Also was kind of hazy, which I found odd for a blond ale. Hop presence was minimal and maltiness was more a sweet mellow taste, nothing interesting. A good session brew, but I think it has some minor flavor flaws.

Pours a mostly clear, classic golden color with a short white head. Unpeeled green banana and white grape nose. Refreshing, crisp mouthfeel without becoming too astringent. Taste approximates the nose with a bit of tropical guy sweetness and grassy notes included. Not a bad blonde at all.

Light orange-amber body. Thin white head and spotty lacing. Soft crackery pale malts and some ale yeast stonefruits. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, rounded muted finish.

Draught: This one poured a clear, golden yellow color. There was a bit of a white foamy head that didn’t last long but did leave some lacing. Decent but lighter aroma. Malts, bit of corn, faint breadiness. The taste is half decent. A bit of malt sweetness, bit of the corn, some graininess and faint grassiness. Not sweet, but no bitterness at all. Taste is OK. Not exciting, but not bad either.

Erzengel (2340) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2014
Golden in the glass with a white head. The beer starts smooth, fresh and refreshing. Very thin. The mainpart is slightly grainy, very refreshing and thin. Easy drinkable without thinking of it. The aftertaste is smooth, nearly no hops, nearly no aroma, watery.
I think it wants to be a session ale - and there it fits great. But all in total it has bit lack of aroma. --> 7/14/7/7

12 oz can. - Pours a copper yellow with white head. Much carbonation. Smells like flowery fruit, with some cereal. Flavors begin with a sweet light roasted malt, sour dough, hint of citrusy old water, with a small smack of hops in the finish. An okay session brew.

Draft pours yellow with white head. Aroma of corn and cereal and slight earth. Taste is sweet corn and not much else. Light body with a sweet finish. Not my favorite.

12 ounce can received in a can from GreatDane1632. A golden and hazy beer that had a decent white head. A light fruit aroma. That fruit is also present at the finish. Before that this is lightly earthy, pale malts, and soft noble hops. An unassuming beer that is pleasant if not remarkable.

Highly carbed, even after being open for an hour. Prickly carb, citrus (wtf?), spritely malts, pretty bleh but not awful.
