Can at a restaurant in Vicksburg, MS. Brown ale is brown. A surprsingly hoppy front to this one that really balances the brown sugar of the malts. Incredibly easy drinking, but at 3.9% that’s not surprising.

4/3/13. 12oz can from Beach in Destin. Brown pour with a small tan head that fades. Smooth caramel and chocolate aroma with smooth caramel, chocolate, biscuits, and bread in the flavor. Tasty for what it is!

The beer pours a very dark brown color with an off-white head. The aroma is full of toffee and cocoa. The flavor is similar. I get a lot of dry cocoa notes as well as some lightly toasted malt, toffee and caramel. Medium carbonation and light mouthfeel. A very nice amount of flavor and body for a beer that is less than 4 percent. Glad I got to try it.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Leighton (6931) - London, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2013
Can at home in Salisbury. Pours clear brown with a small, creamy tan head. Wet burnt leaves in the aroma. Light sweet flavor with some coffee, wet ash, leaves, dirt, some tangy dark malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish with further lightly tangy dark malts, more dirt and ash, charred leaves. Pretty weak on every front.

12 ounce can shared by Gillard at his place, thanks Ryan. Poured a cocacola brown, aromas of roast, coffee, and a touch of toast. Thin mouthfeel, flavors match aroma, decent beer overall, low abv where you could drink all day.
