COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We live in New Orleans. We like dark beer. That’s why we have crafted the perfect, light bodied, full flavored brown ale that you can drink all year round. Our English style mild brown ale has a rich dark color with an aroma of chocolate, coffee, and caramel. This malty treat will change your perception of brown ales and have you thirsty for more.

Dark brown with a small tan head. Malty nose. Coffee and chocolate taste with an odd chalkiness at the finish. An average brown ale, with nothing really outstanding about it.

Draught, Avenue Pub. Light chestnut colour. Light body and gentle maltiness. Not bad. There isn’t much complexity but it drinks easy and is probably better if you think of it as a mild.

Draft. Aroma is a little buttery and very bland. Watery palate. Barely any character. Drinkable enough but too bland like what are they aiming for? Disappointing from usually a reliable brewery.

Draft at Montgomery Brewfest. Aroma of caramel and nuts. Aroma is the where the goodness ends. Bland, boring flavor.

This is one of the best beers I have ever had. I am suprised that Rb thinks so low of it. Greatest session beers ever. Light and crisp with a great body

Tap @ Avenue Pub: Pours a brown color with a nice head, light aroma of caramel and nuts. Malty flavor with some caramel and faint hops. Very predictable with a roasty finish and a thin body. I need a bit more chewiness to my brown.

on tap at BWW Bossier City, pours brown with a medium tan head, minimal lacing. Nose is coffee and cocoa, very robust and roasty. Flavor is amazingly rich for the low abv, in the realm of Maduro, lots of light cocoa and roasted coffee ending with a thin layer of spice and earthen hops. I could drink this stuff all day long.

Draft at Avenue Pub. Furniture-wood-colored, with a creamy appeal. Robust flavor, quite malty. Pile on the all the flavors right out of their apt commercial description, and you’ve got the idea. Nice. (#4030, 12/??/2010)
