Taproom, pours black with tan head. Aroma is peppermint, chocolate, lots of chocolate. Taste is similar with light coffee, mint, chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Medium body with sweet finish. Smells and tastes just like a liquid thin mint. Delicious!

Draft. Black with medium tan head. Aroma of mint and chocolate. Very similar to a thin mint. Medium body with bold mint flavor with some dark chocolate notes and a dry finish. Its rare for a beer to live up to its namesake.

Tap, NOLA International Beer Festival Fest 2012. Pours a slightly cloudy dark brown body with a small frothy beige head. The nose is nicely roasty and chocolaty with just a light hint of mint. The flavor is great, especially with the cask presentation. Roasty and chocolaty with a really well done thin mint cookie like finish. This could easily be overdone, but they did a nice job with this. Nice smooth and creamy texture, really nice body for being on cask. One of the hits of this festival for me.
