COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the culmination of over 30 years of brewing by our Brewmaster, Peter ‘Hopzilla’ Caddoo. Created at our Tchoupitoulas Street brewery, our India Pale Ale was hand crafted with six malts and six hops. This big, beautiful beer is dry hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe hops to accentuate aromas of citrus and pine. Grab a Hopitoulas and taste the passion and dedication that has gone into this brew.

Can. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, moderate pine and orange rind for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with light dried fruit in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber/orange. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a soft to lively carbonation. A well balanced and easy drinking IPA

Deliciously smooth ipa! Lovely golden pour w/ a white head & outstanding lacing. The aroma is primarily soft citrus notes. The taste is slightly bitter but nicely balanced by the citrusy flavors. It is pleasant on the palate & overall a very good ipa!

(En fût à la brasserie): Un profil malté assez fruité laisse tout de même des houblons verts et épicés se distinguer. Très bon sans être mémorable.

16 ounce can pour at the Hard Rock in Biloxi. I really enjoyed this beer. Just the right amount of hoppiness and bitterness. Give this a try if you get a chance.

Tap at numerous locations in NOLA pours bright orange hue with a soapy small white head and good lacing very nice looking brew even in a plastic glass. Nose is hoppy bright citric grapefruit rind and some floral musty notes. Flavors are very nice robust citrus almost tropical lots of Tangerine pineapple and light passionfruit. Very sessionable ipa for long nights in NOLA. long finish of pineapple very little bitterness. Solid ipa

Had while in New Orleans waiting for my muffalada sandwich. Has some nice citrus grapefruit hop aroma. Medium bitterness. But very tasty and drinkable. Citrus hop throughout. Well done New Orleans! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can. Cloudy copper hue with a finger-high beige foam. Aged citrus, raw sugar, lightly astringent graininess and a dry hopped piney bitterness. Medium to full body and medium+ carbonation.

From the draft the color is clear and orange, the aroma is bread and yeast, the flavor is sweet citrus and a good hop finish, the mouthfeel is thin. Very drinkable good with food.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2016 My Bottom Line:
Orange rinds become grassy resins, as honeyed malt sugars ground this efficient IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the hazy amber shine.
-The prickly effervescence and relatively lean body make for good drinkability.
-This is a very professional job, albeit not a memorable one.
-Fruit character could be bolder, in my tastes.

Can and on tap at The Ole Saint.
