COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the culmination of over 30 years of brewing by our Brewmaster, Peter ‘Hopzilla’ Caddoo. Created at our Tchoupitoulas Street brewery, our India Pale Ale was hand crafted with six malts and six hops. This big, beautiful beer is dry hopped with Amarillo and Simcoe hops to accentuate aromas of citrus and pine. Grab a Hopitoulas and taste the passion and dedication that has gone into this brew.

Nice IPA, drunks more like an imperial or double IPA. Definite citrus notes sweet finish, amber color and very little head. ---bhiner41 Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: very clear rich gold color, has a moderately thick and dense off white head Aroma: grain, some fruit, faint Taste: bitterness, grass, pine, can get the malt flavor if you concentrate Palate: moderate c02, leaves a pretty strong bitter aftertaste Overall: this is a good ipa, could use a bit more of the hop flavors besides just the bitterness ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can. Rating #75. Clear copper pour with a sticky dirty white head. Light tropical aroma with a bit of toast. Above average bitterness, pine and a little more toast, long lingering bitter aftertaste, not bad. (2738)

A full lightly tanned head. Nice piney and fruity aroma. It has a lively palate, and a great taste. I love Amarillo and Simcoe hops, and Hopitoulas delivers.

Draft. Poured gold with a nice pillow of white head. Big sweet and floral aroma. Taste is the same without being overly sweet. There’s a nice grass/tropical fruit balance. No overpowering bitterness. Real quaffable and dangerously drinkable. no hint of an elevated ABV.
