COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Irish Channel Stout is our newest seasonal ale. Released in November, this is an American style stout that has sweet malt flavors of caramel and chocolate, complimented by a crisp bitterness produced by roasted barley and American Hops. The complex malt bill of pale and roasted malts result in this well balanced stout that is smooth, rich, dark and delicious! And watch out – ABV 6.8%! This seasonal will be available on draft through March.

Flavor is bitter and lightly tart chocolate and roast malt, smoke, leather, light earthy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours almost like an imperial stout, very dark brown and thick, khaki colored head. Roasted malts, dark cocoa, and some light hoppiness add to an interesting nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied surprisingly enough. Finishes with roast and cocoa. Interesting stout, very good, done well.

I had this one for breakfast and it went very well. A creamy stout with a bit of a dry finish. Not too roasted, malty but not overly sweet. Pretty nice.

Can shared by "AKFaust". Colour...very dark brown with no head. Nose...roasted nuts, toasted malt and something kind of musty. Palate...basically roasty and dry with some notes of dark chocolate and cereal.

Dude this is good. It is entirely better than can Guinness. Sweet roast and chocolate aroma and flavors. Nice full palate with semi-dry finish. Nice long lingering roastiness. Pretty noticeable wack of hops at the end, almost too much but makes it fun.
