COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Irish Channel Stout is our newest seasonal ale. Released in November, this is an American style stout that has sweet malt flavors of caramel and chocolate, complimented by a crisp bitterness produced by roasted barley and American Hops. The complex malt bill of pale and roasted malts result in this well balanced stout that is smooth, rich, dark and delicious! And watch out – ABV 6.8%! This seasonal will be available on draft through March.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 16 oz can. Pours a deep dark inky black with a quickly fading thin khaki colored head. Persistent aroma with some heavy chocolate and espresso, hints of creosote. Solid stout flavor with dark bittersweet chocolate, some espresso, a touch of topsoil. Nice chalky mouthfeel, Pleasantly surprised.

Good can, suitable for warding off vampires when you’re passed out in a back alley in NOLA. Or taking with you to Father Patrick’s confessional. Huge, multi-toned tan head on a molasses-colored brew. Slightly smokey, chickory/coffee/parched soy nut aroma. Earthy, a little black olive, starchy, lightly sweet. Underbittered. Roast and soil aftertaste, body is a little on the light side. I was a tad disappointed. ABC, Betton.

Can courtesy of jcartamdg. Cheers, Jason! Pours a dark stout brown with a light tan head. Nose is roasted coffee, roast, some ash, and mild bitterness. Flavor is baker’s chocolate, roasted coffee, ash, and some slight caramel. Light to medium in body and a nice stout overall.

Poured from 1 pint can. Aroma is nice roasted coffee, chocolate and rich malts. Unfortunately, a distinct metallic smell and taste was present. It's a good solid stout with a medium body. I like the layers of toasted malts, roasted coffee and chicory. The chocolate notes are present and balanced through the long lasting finish.
