dark gold syrupy mess, nose is enough to let you know that if you are looking for either an East Coast or West Coast Specimen, this Gulf Coast attempt at a DIPA was not going to be a success. Hard to finish especially with so many great options on tap at Avenue Pub on Charles St.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good clean hops, but not a real strong malty backbone here.
Clean smooth palate makes this real hop monster come in just above average.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Caramel colored with a thin, medium bubbled head. Aroma is stale IPA with some cardboard and ash. Taste is thin, stale malt, slight mango near the middle of the taste with more cardboard to round things out. Slight bitterness but in an unpleasant manner. Overall, not a very good IPA.
