Bottle. You can smell chocolate, roast and fruit aroma. Poured in glass it’s dark black, you can’t see through it. Minimal, quickly dissappearing head. Taste is lightly sweet and heavy bitter. Palate includes medium body, oily texture with soft carbonation and bitter finish. Very good representant of Black IPA category.

ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 8, 2012
Draught at Prague Beer Museum, err, Prague. Very dark with a head that had potential, albeit was ruined by a non-professional pour. Aroma is very tropical - lychee, mango, passion fruit, rather low on citrus and pine in comparison. Tropical multifruit (hop)juice. Maybe it was poured a tad too cold which is why the presence of dark malts became apparent only after the first sip. Rather full malty body, light sweetish, tropical hoppy flavour with a strong, roasted and hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste of light roast, chocolate, fruit tea and hints of pine. A bit porteresque in the finish. Excellent combination!
