svrchně kvašený světlý ležák - Americká klasika, pivní styl APA v českém provedení. Hořkost, která potěší i zarputilého příznivce českých ležáků. Dobrá pitelnost. Jednoduše Easy Rider. plzenský, bavorský a karamelový slad, chmel: Premiant (ČR), Chinook, Cascade, Glacier (USA).

Aroma: much grapefruit, some resin, altogether not too aggressive. Amber colour, hazy, minimal head. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, carbonation a bit above average. Nice beer, maybe not the most complex of this kind, but really drinkable.

Tap at U Sneka, Znojmo. Resin, pine, lychee, citrus and bready malt in the aroma. Well integrated, flavourful and with just the right amount of bitterness not to overpower the whole. Now that is a very nice beer!

draught@Braukunst Live München - Impressive, relatively low ABV but maximum taste APA with a distinct European touch, both in hop and yeast complexity. Biscuity orange in colour, aroma and taste, floral aromas which I’d have to sample a 2nd time to describe and register in their full depth, ideal medium palate, confident resinous bitterness.

Tap. Clear amber, low offwhite head. Grassy, citric, tropical (mango) hops, very clean. Light resins help with the smooth chewy mouthfeel. Great hop profile retronasal.

Bottle. Forms stable white foam over orange, cloudy liquid. Aroma is grassy (like a spring meadow), with caramel and yeasts in it. Taste is very complex and balanced, mostly sweet with long bitter finish. Beer is very light, thin textured with lively carbonation. For me it’s ideal APA, very tasty and refreshing.

LIVE RATING: Half-litre bottle from a friend returning from Prague. Poured into nonic pint glass. Unfiltered copper with creamy white head and lacing columns. Sweet yeastiness and grassy hop aroma. Richly hoppy in-mouth with leafy, fresh hoppiness and developing tongue-tickling citrus kick. Grass and grapefruit finish with touches of tangerine. Upper-mouth bitterness. Enjoyably zingy mouthfeel and a medium body. A deliciously flavoursome 4.8% bottle conditioned ipa. I am loving it!
