Dark amber color. Big malty backbone, lots of hops and tons of papaya with tropical fruit. Alcohol well hidden, so well hidden. Big lingering bitter finish.

Rating #767 - Nov 14, 2013. 330ml bottle from Sherbrooke. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. FRUIT BOMB! Nose is tangerine, pineapple, essentially the tropics in a blender. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey/tangerine notes with the spicy tang and hoppy bite. Unreal that this is 9.2%. Super Schwanky!

Cunningham (4439) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2013
Appearance: Hazy dark golden color with a big thick frothy white head that leaves a nice lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit hoppy, tropical fruity and malty.
Palate: Medium to full body. Slightly sweet, and a rich fresh bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Grapefruit hoppy, rich fruity, butterscotch and rich malty. Well masked alcohol.
Overall impression: Decent and tasy DIPA.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Gunnar

Precioso color cobrizo con generosa espuma color crema. En nariz es intensa con aromas frutales y herbales. En boca tiene una densidad media y comienza con un dulzor ligero que pronto pasa a un amargor afrutado muy bien equilibrado. Excelente.

Pours reddish brown with fair head. Aroma of malty grains and maybe some fruit. Taste is much the same, malty, strong, just ok for what it is, but these types of beers are not my faves. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Murky orange, golden head. Sweet malts share the stage with juicyntropical fruit hop notes. Equally sweet and bitter. Quaffable.

Dark copper colour with a big white head. Great, strong aroma with caramel, grapefruit, various spices, orange, mandarin, mango. Excellent hoppy fruity flavour with orange, mango, grapefruit, mandarin, pineapple, pepper, caramel and resin. Great.

Murky deep orange with half inch of bubbles. Aroma is tropical fruit hops (papaya, presumably). Taste is delightfully balanced, slightly sweet malt backbone with a touch of caramel with a mild bitterness and soft fruit overtop. Lingering bitter finish. Alcohol totally concealed, utterly drinkable.

Monchito_IPA (138) - SPAIN - NOV 22, 2013
Excelente.
