Bottle. A dense, two-finger light beige head sits on top of a n unclear, dark golden to amber body. Some lacings. The aroma has pine cones, some tropical fruits and a little malty note. Pleasant but a bit one dimensional. Sweet on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level, full-bodied. Bitterness, pine cones and tropical fruits. Lasting bitterness in the finish. Sure, it’s nice, but nothing extraordinary going on. 131116

Bottle to tulip Papaya and other tropical fruit, peppercorns, red pepper, and sweet malt. Cloudy brownish amber with a thin creamy off white head. The taste is peppery, sweet and bitter, but very fruity.

Bottle at Olympen. Pours red copper, white head. Raisins, citrus and caramel nose. Good bitterness, well-balanced, raisins and citrus, toffee. Solid craft. One extra point for the papaya.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This hazy amber beer has bitter orange marmalade, burnt toffee, pineapple and tropical fruit flavours (papaya?) with an extremely bitter finish.

A solid Imperial IPA. Pours a bright gold and yellow with a massive yellow hued white head. The nose has a bright fruity and resin filled hop heavy aroma along with mild toasted malts. The first sip is a tad sweet with a resinous smack throughout. A mild peppery crack on the finish with nice grapefruit and pineapple. A good balance with a great fruity hop character overall.

Pours a clear deep copper-hued orange body with a large, creamy off-white head, looking absolutely gorgeous. Nose is papaya, pine, wet grass, red fruits, herbs, spruce and hints of caramel and syrup. Quite lovely, actually. Taste is caramel, pine, papaya, spruce, wet grass and hints of pine, grapefruit and syrup. Some lingering resinous bitterness, backed by papaya fruitiness for balance. Full body, medium carbonation. Oh my God, what a surprise from Spain - in fact, I think this is the best Spanish beer I’ve ever had! Balanced, inventive, well integrated and with great looks and mouthfeel to boot. Dishing out a definite high score on this one - will buy again! :-)

Bottle. Better label than the one here. It had a mad wee cat critter and a papaya. Pours a hazy Golden Amber with a lasting White head. Excellent aroma. Floral and very tropical. The Papaya is clearly present. Flavour has some peachy caramel notes and is jam-packed with tropical punch. The papaya again is clear and present. A thick, resinous IIPA. I found it to be outstanding.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to the Cad for this one. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Lots of juicy tropical fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, ripened tropical fruit finish with a bit of alcohol punch. Nice.

Clear amber colour, cream head. Fruity aroma, hops, citrus, melon and papaya. Bitter flavour, fruity, malts and hops. Hoppy bitter finish, light papaya and carambola. Nice!
(From 33cL bottle shared @ Benzai’s place. Thanks for sending this one to me in the European Beer Swap II, BRW! It’s much appreciated!)

330ml brown bottle... uhm totally different label with a derpy cartoon cat hugging a large slice of papaya with a burning timebomb wick on it... Cute. Hazy gold, huge, thick column of white creamy foam. Lots of lacing. Nose has tropical fruit and is a bit sweet. Taste has toffee malts, honey, a bit of fruitiness, citrus. Finishes with sweet malts, toffee, grains. A bit light on bitterness, fruity, toffeeish. Good brew, but a little sweeter and not quite as bitter as I was hoping for.
