0.33l bottle @ The George and Dragon, Barcelona. This is a near clear caramel brown one, lot’s of floaters and sediments, and it has a bubbly light beige head. It smells of ripe sweet fruits, banana sweetness and red/green apples. I get tones of candy and brown sugar, some mild boozy tones - but surprisingly subtle for such a high abv beer. Hints or dried raisins and figs. Really not that bad this aroma! Oh, it’s so tasty! Skin of almond dryness pledging in my mouth, it has raisins, sweet dates, nuts and ripe apples. My this was really good! Full-bodied with a average carbonation level. Strong, but still so balanced! In the aftertaste it feels like a mix between a quad and a dubbel. Perhaps the best Spanish beer I’ve tasted. 09.08.2012

Bottle at BRU Pub, august 3rd 2013. Hazy dark brown body, thin tanned head. Malty caramel aroma with raisins and pear. Sweet malt taste with a light roast, oranges, alcohol taste. Refreshing fruity and sweet aftertaste.

Murky brown color, small brown head. Yeasty, a bit spicey aroma, hints of caramel. Medium to full bodied. Caramelly, sweet, yeasty, elderflower. Not very saisonic but herbal. strong dark belgian ale. Similar to some Danish brews.

Bottle at Olympen. Mahogny colour. Chocolate and pear nose, hints of plums as well. Molasses flavours, on the sweet side, but still quite elegant. Nicely made.

Hazy deep amber beer with tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is slightly soft and dry. Pretty sweet lactose. Mild minerals. Touch of paper and mild dried fruits. Dry finish. A bit of a mess.

Countbeer (4311) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 30, 2013
Bittle: Thanks Papsø: Served in a Chouffe glass: Dark orange amber brown pour. Very small creamy light beige foamy head which turns quick into a lacing on top of a hazy dark amber colored beer. Aromas of toast, meat, vegetables, soap, cooking butter with meat, malts, nuts, oatmeal, barley malts, leaves and yeast. Flavours of oatmeal, porridge, yeast, malts, toast, bitters, some rose hip, hint of liquorice wood, leaves, barley malts, nuts, some wood and cream. Aftertaste is a strange mix of porridge, meat cooked in butter, malts, oatmeal, meal and some bitters... Low carbo, soft creamy close to silky mouthfeel, medium to full body and a oily texture. Strange beer with strange flavours to detect, but it’s ok...
