Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light hoppy, fruity, perfume. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100119]

Cask. I put this down simply as "Nook Red". Clear reddish amber with a creamy off-white head leaving laces. Nutty aroma. Medium body, sweet toffee and roasted malt with a rather subdued bitterness. 190110

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks, Thames Tipple Leg 9 (Fins brucie bonus again) 13-03-10 Pours reddy/amber in fact I would say more copper coloured with a small white filmy head and good clarity. I get ginger in the mouth which I was quite chuffed about having noted this is in the tasting notes, it was immediatly evident to me though by no means overpowering. Nicely fruity with a steady bitterness, some fruitiness on the nose. A good beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4
