Grainy, slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor is sweet malty and grainy. Dry finish. Not bad, well drinkable.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest hoppy-dry, more and more spicy. Finish well balanced, but a bit thin. Could be more intense. But still a nice pilsner.

Koelschtrinker (16443) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011
Geht so. 10/7/7/5/6/7

MoritzF (9286) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2009
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Sweet and bready malty nose with a touch of biscuits, grainy elements and subtle fruity aroma hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry pale malt character, slightly chalky taste with present herbal hops. Dry and hop bitter, slightly chalky finish. Solid German Pilsener. 29.VII.09

Bottle: Golden, stable lacy white head, some floaties visible; grainy-dusty and slightly citrousy nose; soft MF, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; sweet malt and a distinctive touch of hops in the smooth finish. Surprise, a quite good beer from the DDR............

Bottle. It pours a clear, a bit pale, golden beer with a nice, lasting, finger thick, white head. Very grainy nose, quite sweetish, with some hops. Strange one, it gives a sick impression. Grainy-sweet flavor with some fine piney bitterness. Strange flavor too, it feels almost like an alcohol free beer. Medium, too sweet on the palate. Grainy finish with a nice bitterness. Not very succesful, way to grainy, and I didn’t wanna finish it. Decent hops though. (090228)
