COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap (5-6 times). Pours black with a small tan head. Nice taste of roasted malt and coffee and hints of licorice. Some hops and smoke in there too. Has a very pleasant and long-lasting dry aftertaste. Overall a very good stout that hardly has any sweetness in it. But absolutely very good. Looking forward to trying the bottle in my fridge to see if it's the same. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium brown head. Opaque black body. Spicy resiny roasty aroma with fruity notes. Surprisingly delicate. Dry-sweet spicy resiny fruity taste with citric notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dry tropical fruit and resin aftertaste with roasty spicy notes. Weird. More like an IPA than an imperial stout, but looks like a stout and the label says that’s what it is. Anyway, I eny it.

Bottle from Plovmand, thanks! Lots of cognac, chocolate, some walnut, red fruit and almond... and alcohol. Less body and flavour depth than expected. Also a bit too alcoholic. Some additional lagering should do the trick. Good.

Bottle from trade with Fonefan, many thanks!
Geschmack sehr schokoladig, bitter, viel Kaffee, reife dunkle Früchte, leicht alkoholisch.
