COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap (5-6 times). Pours black with a small tan head. Nice taste of roasted malt and coffee and hints of licorice. Some hops and smoke in there too. Has a very pleasant and long-lasting dry aftertaste. Overall a very good stout that hardly has any sweetness in it. But absolutely very good. Looking forward to trying the bottle in my fridge to see if it's the same. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tfredvik (1182) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2014
Black, opaque body with a light-brown head that ends up as a partially covering film plus some build-up at the walls. Good lacing. Malty, roasted and quite strong aroma of coffee, chocolate, bark, tobacco and snuff. Roasted and strong flavour of coffee, ash, liquorice and alcohol in the back. Moderate to light sweet and heavy bitter long-lasting finish. Full-bodied, quite dry and with a soft carbonation.
