On tap (5-6 times). Pours black with a small tan head. Nice taste of roasted malt and coffee and hints of licorice. Some hops and smoke in there too. Has a very pleasant and long-lasting dry aftertaste. Overall a very good stout that hardly has any sweetness in it. But absolutely very good. Looking forward to trying the bottle in my fridge to see if it's the same. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks tomer. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of roast, some coffee, a bit of chocolate and a bit of dark fruits notes. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, a bit alcoholic, with a bit of coffee, a bit of chocolate and a light smoky note in the finish. Quite full-bodied.

Bottle. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and rye bread. Almost Black with light Brown head. Smoked wood and malt in flavour and a touch of mead which would have pleased Knud den Store. Dry aftertaste with notes of liquorice.

Pours a near black with brown edges. Medium tall rusty brown head, quickly fading to a ring of bubbles. Nose is fruity for a starter, then a good dose of well roasted dark malts, bitter coffee, and a fine licorice scent. Mid-bodied. Oily mouthfeel. Equallly fruity and roasty flavor. Dark tinned fruits and well roasted, almost tarry dark malts. Bold bitterness, mostely from the malts. Finishes dry and bitter. [0,33 l bottle from Eriksen Vinhandel, Holbæk]

01-JUL-2014, draft @Taphouse. Black, lasting Brown head. Aroma is roast, hard roasted with coffee. Taste is very roasted with coffee, chocolate. Hoppy. Very bitter from hops and roast. Slight astringency. Full body, medium carbonation. Very hoppy aftertaste - green - clearly dry-hopped. Long, long mostly hoppy aftertaste - at least after a few sips. Some sweetness. Really delicious.

330 ml bottle. Black body with a tan head. Aroma has light roasted dark malt, coffee and some liquorice. Flavor is sweet, mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee hint of liquorice and medium bitterness. OK balanced body and decent aftertaste. Alcohol is well hidden. Nothing really extraordinary going on here, but a well-made solid imp. stout. Quite nice sipper or even as a companion to my pizza tonight.
