2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a pale golden body with a quickly disappearing foamy white head. Smell is dry hops and pale malts with a certain citric edge to it. Taste is a well-balanced malt/hop blend; not too sweet nor too bitter. No bad adjuncts or poor brewing faults to be found in this one; a rather nice surprise, in fact. While staying well within the limits of the traditional Scandinavian pilsener, Nordlands Pils works very well with what it does: a drinkable, smooth pilsener for those long, luminescent Norwegian summer nights.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at Kråkebolle Café on Brasøy, Helgeland. Clear light golden with a finger thick white head that dissapates fast leaving some lacing. Initial floral aroma that quickly gives way to medicinal and bubble gum notes. Taste is light malty sweet and bitter and the texture is watery. Light bodied. An OK refreshment, as long as you know that you’re getting industrial pilsner.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught@Narvik. Bronze beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly dry, and the flavour is hopped and bitter with malty elements. Overall an average lager style beer.
