Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours mostly clear gold with a light, white foam head. Dry hay nose, some doughy malts. Medium sweet flavor, more hay and dough, some white bread and sugar. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, faint bitter straw. It’s OK. Nothing special, but easy drinking.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig 2012. Gold coloured pour with a white head. Citrus and pear aroma. Ginger and citrus flavour. Bitter fruit finish.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Note - this was drink right after a rather peculiar Kvass, so I was probably still in a bad mood. The pour’s light gold, no head. Ugly. The nose is peas, sugar, some angel food cake. The taste is weak vegetable water, light sugar. Overall, a sad effort.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, floral with some mild honey sweetness. Flavour is nectary, honeyish, fruity and quite floral with some mild bready notes.

Bottle at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. A toasted malt, grain & citric lemon dominated profile. An OK sweet/sour balance going on. Some buttery, caramel sweetness comes through on occasions. Light to medium body, medium carbonation finishing with a short to medium length, gently hoppy finish. A simple, rounded golden ale; quite harmless but has an easygoing drinkability to it.

A - Golden, quick disappearing head leaving a some nice lacing.
S - honey, the feild, hay, fresh smell
T - Clean, dry, crisp, pale malt, and very nice
M - crisp light great carbonation very refreshing
O - a great beer for the style, nothing exciting but extremly solid easy to drink and I really liked it a lot.

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Hazy gold beer, good off white head. Light dry palate. Dry pale malt. Citric grapefruit and tangerine. Finishes dry with a mild bitter aftertaste.

Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, biscuit, apple, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111230]

500ml bottle, best before 30 Oct 2012. Gold. Decent condition. Light biscuit malt aroma. Quite fresh and clean. Solidly bitter feel. Pretty decent.
