Editor’s note: Bombay Pale Ale has been made from all organic ingredients since November 2011. All ratings of the beer after that date should be entered here.

Bronze, clear, with nice yellow foam. Orange fruit in the mild aroma. Sweet, caramel, toffee, with nice sweet orangy bitterness in the aftertaste.

This certainly seems closer to a pale ale than an IPA in my opinion. Some nice fruity hops and a good clean bite.

God behagelig IPA. Tilpas med humle og bitterhed. Overraskende frisk. Lidt kedeligt udseende

Pours clear with thin white head. Nose is fruity and flowery. Aromas are sweet malts, fruits, orange peels and pepper. Average carbonation, medium body. Medium bitter and spicy finish. Drinkable, but a bit boring. Not enough hoppy.

Bottle from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. Pours hazy amber with a nice thick foamy cream head. Pleasant pineapple aroma. The taste is quite sweet with mango and pineapple. There’s some light spice too. It lacks the bitter finish you’d usually expect from this style of IPA leaving it feeling a bit watery. Even so it has a decent creamy mouthfeel. OK.

Pours light amber with white foam. Has malty and hoppy aroma. Its heavy floral and has some pine-notes. Long finish dry but I’d like more bitterness. Very balanced.

Copenhagen 18/10 2015. 40 cl bottle from Kvickly. Pours clear golden yellow with big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma is sweet with perfumed exotic fruit. Some peach and mango. Only a little citrus around. Soft carbonation and oily palate. Flavour is sweetish and follows the nose. Aftertaste is nicely medium bitter and lightly citrus. Decent but does not get me all the way to Bombay. One i Of the better ones from Nørrebro Bryghus.
