COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Nørrebro Bryghus’s interpretation of the classic India Pale Ale. A powerful beer brewed exclusively from English Marris Otter malt which gives a deep and an intense malt character. Plenty of fruity ale aromas supplemented by bold notes of classic English aroma hops added after fermentation (dry hopping).
Big body, high bitterness and some sweetness characterize this golden 6.5 % ABV beer.

Tap@brewpub. Coppery coloured. Biscuity malty with earthy, light herbal, hops. Med full body. Quite nice texture really- bitter, but with nice caramel sweetness for balance. Feels English, old IPA. Nice.

On tap, part of my 4 x 100ml 65 DKK tasting set at the brewpub. A very similar dark yellow color which is almost undistinguishable from the NY Lager. A piney sweet malt & light citrus aroma - nice. The taste is malty caramel with pine & a mild ascerbic puckering finish.

A nice English inspired IPA. It pours dark golden, with a small white head. The aroma is malty with faint grass and citrus aromas from the hops. It has a nice malt taste, with good hop notes and a little bitterness. Could be slightly more aromatic/hoppy, but a nice easy to drink IPA.

Keg at the brewhouse. Copper pour with thick white head. Plenty of malt character in the aroma: quite deep and fruity. Not much in terms of hops though, bit of herb and spice, some spruce and earthiness. Light caramel and red fruit prominent in the taste alongside some spicy earthy hop notes. Decent bitterness. Some odd vegetal character in there too. A very English style IPA - tasty enough, but not my cup of tea.
