English: Nørrebro Bryghus’s interpretation of the classic India Pale Ale. A powerful beer brewed exclusively from English Marris Otter malt which gives a deep and an intense malt character. Plenty of fruity ale aromas supplemented by bold notes of classic English aroma hops added after fermentation (dry hopping).
Big body, high bitterness and some sweetness characterize this golden 6.5 % ABV beer.

0,4 l. bottle from the supermarket. Amber colour with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet with some weak hoppy notes. Taste is light sweet malty with fruity notes. Ends with a mild bitterness, lively carbonation, medium length finish. A nice beer after a long summer day.

I tried this beer on May 13, 2011 at "Smokeless Joe" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a trancluscent gold colour with orange hues. and a thin off-white head. The aroma was pine, weak citrus, and grainy malts. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is slighty sweet, malty, with citrus and toffee. The finish is bitter.

very lively and pours a big head, that lasts some time. deep golden. nice hoppy nose, welballanced withgrass, citrus and some orange fruit. Fullbodied, with a fine length. some bitterness, but again welballanced. taste of grass, light citrus, orange. delicious welmade beer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Light copper with a medium snow white head. Mild aroma with a good balance of sweet and slightly toasted malt and fruity hops with hints of orange peel and grass. Flavour follows the aroma in every regard. A nice beer, but a bit mellow for an IPA, and not quite worth the premium price I had to pay for it.

Not very bitter for an IPA. But aroma and taste were full of sweet fruits. Quite good, though overpriced at the LCBO.

Copper body, white head. Aroma of malts, fruits, yoghurt and nice fruity hops. Flavour has some apricot and malts. Not much bitterness for IPA.

Pale amber pour with a tight white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy. A bit of soft spicy/fruity hops. A touch of light orange peel and muted pine as well. There is a bit of soft caramel malt. The hops are muted and quite balanced with some softly sweet malts. It’s a pretty simple, but tasty IPA. Light citrus fruit on the finish.

Pours a dark golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy hops, malt and sweet caramel. Taste is earthy, malt with a low bitterness and rich hop flavour. Typical English style IPA, very well done.

Nice balance of hops and sweeter malts. Would enjoy this again if I had the chance.

Clear orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Bitter and dry finish. The English hops used don’t give as much flavor but the bitterness is certainly there. 171110
