On tap at Ølfestival 2011. It’s a dark reddish brown beer with a dense, beige head of finger-thick size. The aroma has prunes and some berries, but most of all it reminds me of the delightful Plum in madeira chocolate from Anthon Berg. It’s sweet on the palate, smooth and full-bodied, with chocolate and some dark berries like black currant and blackberries. Plum in madeira chocolate in the finish. An interesting and nice beer, maybe well paired with a chocolate dessert. 110526

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty sweetish chocolate and hazelnut flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.
