Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Somewhat cloudy amber color. Spare display of lacework. Initial sniff gave the impression of light sour notes. Then came notes of fruit, yeast, berries in particular blackcurrant. Light underlying notes of caramel and grain. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and a hint of dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness and acidic. Surprisingly there was a light hoppy finish to this beer. Very drinkable I thought.
