Tap @ the brewery.
Deep brown to black with a small, staying, creamy, beige head with good lacings. Aroma is smoky, leather, chocolate, some ammonia. Medium carbonation, fine light and malty dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, softly smoked, some chocolate, light toasted caramel, liqourice, salty. Mild malty bitter finish. Easy to drink.

Ungstrup (29286) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 18, 2012
Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of smoke, liquorice, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of liquorice (a bit much for my taste), roasted malt, and wood, as well as lighter notes of smoke, leading to a dry roasted finiish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Solid annis seed/liqourice, dark roasted malty and vague sweet promise. Dense liqourice, vague smoked, tarish and medium sweet. Bitter, dense liqourice and dry dark malty finish. Amost herbal dry bitterness into the far finish.
