4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap @ Ølfestival, Esbjerg, 2009.
Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. It stays for quite some time. Insanly lovely hops aroma. Grapefruit, pine forest, a tad perfume and medicine (but no in any bad way). Citric as well. Medium carbonation, great dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly hoppy, dry, some pine, light malty sweetness. Impressive, long, piney bitterness. Really lovely. Best beer of the festival!

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught at Nørrebro Bryghus.
Dusty deep gold with a decent and mostly lasting head.
The aroma is absolutely wonderful! The most intense, elegant and inviting hop presence, I’ve ever come across (orangey citrus, pine, and flowers) combines with a subtle fruitiness - truly mindblowing.
Flavorwise, juicy fresh hops dominate in a big way, again intermingling with a subtle, harmonious fruitiness. Malt character is subdued, but contributes to an overall impression of balance. Despite being so intensely hop-driven, the finish is surprisingly mellow and lacking in bitterness - although it certainly is dry and crisp. Amazing depth of flavor, considering the relatively low abv.
A superbly drinkable, intensely aromatic and delicious hop bomb, and probably the best beer from Nørrebro Bryghus so far. Consider me an addict!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is smooth peachy, light pineneedle and grapefruity. Smooth hops fruity flavoured, light leathery hops note. Mild malt base. Slowly building dry bitterness in the finish. Mild sweetness to give a good counterbalance to the bitterness. The hops profile desturbs me a bit, nice beer though.
