COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An experimental brew, brewed especially for Øllets Dag (The Beer Day) 2006. A bone-dry, light, pale Pale Ale, that has a distinct hop bitterness, and a delicate malt character. The flavor is dominated by a rathter intense hop character, that in a beutifully way intertwines with the perfumated aromas from the freshly picked jasmine, that is generously added during the lagering.

Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy pale golden coloured. Big perfumy fruit and hop aroma with loads of jasmin flowers. Sweetish floral flavour which is interesting in the beginning, but becomes soapy and rather cloying the more you drink. Medium bodied. Interesting experiment, but too damn soapy and perfumy.

A yellow beer (a very pale Pale Ale, nice) with a white head. The aroma is sweet and very perfumated, must be from the jasmine (very nice) combined with a flowery hoppy note, as well as a hint of citrus, which could be from the use of Cascade? The flavor is sweet right at the start, but very soon it turns bone-dry and very crisp with notes of jasmine in a perfumated way, combined with hoppy notes which in the beginning are very floral, but towarsd the end turns more citrusy, and makes the end dry and bitter. I suspect a mixture of English and American hops are used. The body is thin, my guess is, that the final gravity is very low, so not much residual sugar are left for giving it body. I’d have liked a bit more body. I think it would be great together with sushi.
