(Bottled) Very murky darkish brown with a smallish, tanned head. Christmas-spicy, slightly "Belgian", sweetish-malty aroma with licorice root, coffee, and some tartness, similar to Old Odense Ale. Spices accented with warming up. Neutral-malty flavor with caramel, slight tartness, cardamom-spiciness. Alcohol completely hidden. Medium, quite thick body with high, but soft carbonation. A pleasant, smooth and balanced, christmasy brew with personality.

Dark brown pour, light mocha head. Nice aroma of dark fruit, dark burnt brown sugar, and some nice ginger. The ginger really comes through in the finish with a great belgian fruity aftertaste. Nice stuff, the ginger is refreshing, nice beer.

Cloudy brown body with a thin head that is quickly gone. The aroma is a weird mix of lemon, ginger, cinnamon, apple, clove and pepper. Taste wise it is pretty acidic with lots of spice. Lemony yet sweet with ginger, clove, honey, and cinnamon. I think this is pretty cool all things considered.

Hazy amber. Nice meaty and sweet body that is not matched by its spicy nose. Well-rounded even if a bit too sweet.

Import from the LCBO and comes in a 600ml brown bottle. Pours a copper-red colour with a frothy beige head, decent retention and lacing. Very nice spicy aromas, with mostly cinnamon (maybe light nutmeg and ginger) and some light dark fruit notes in the back. Smooth mouthfeel that goes down well, with no burning alcohol. Roasted malt flavours with some more dark fruits (raisins, plum, fig) and the spices not as much felt in the taste. Just a great spiced beer to warm you up in winter time.

Foggy red brown, fine bubbles create a fine off white head. Aroma of soft spice with a hint of lemon and mineral. Tastes like all kinds of rooty spice with a beguiling caramel-toffee finish. Overtones of citrus plays out in flavor, spicy round finish that is not overly sweet. Balance!

Bottle [600ml]. Pours a lovely deep red-brown with a large mostly-lasting frothy beige head. Lovely aroma of spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove), sweet malt, dark fruit, brown sugar and a bit of rye -- smells like Xmas. Slightly sweet flavour of the aforementioned spices along with sweet malt, toffee, brown sugar and dark fruit. Light spicy bitter finish. Medium bodied. A nice beer and an enjoyable one to have on a cold Winter night.
