COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. An almost clear one, copper to brown body topped by a small, beige head. Sourish caramel and dried fruits on the nose. Spices and some yeast as well. Spiced, caramel flavor with a sour touch. A pleasant citrus-peel bitterness towards the slightly sour finish. Medium body, pleasantly carbonated. A strange one, leaving me with the impression that the brewer were lost for ideas when creating it, it sort of goes in several directions at one time. 101229

Bottle. Amber with a small, dense tan head. Aroma feels like dry, dusty malt, some berries and slightly spicy. Flavor has an unpleasant acidity, metallic bitterness and some wood. Probably some kind of infection and out of balance. The aroma where more promising but something went wrong.

Cloudy brownish color with a tanned head. Sweet aroma with raisins, cinnamon, nelliker and a bit of smoked hay. Christmassy flavor with oranges, cinnamon, nelliker, cardamum, alcohol, brown farin, coffee and hoppy bitterness, augmented by a sour background. Very exciting beer.

20-NOV-2010, bottle @home, from Superbest.. Brown, off-white flutty head. Weak, sweet nose. Spicey, malty, fruity. But what is that? It is sour...! Is that a flaw? Does not feel right, and I do not like it.

OleR (4802) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 11, 2010
0.6L bottle picked up@ØlKonsortiet, Aalborg. Tall creamy sand-colored head. Body is bright, deep ryby red. Initial aroma is fruity acidity, bordering on vinegar. Offset by a vague smell of creamed caramel. Taste is vinous and light sour acidic. Restrained malt body. An acidic fruitiness together with notes of lactic acids is dominating the flavor. Light-bodied with a powdery mouthfeel. There’s unfortunately some bugs in this beer, providing a light infection. Re-rate pending.
