English: Brewed with lightly roasted Kenyan coffee from Copehagen’s Coffee Collective.

Draft. An opaque black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as notes of coffee and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of lightly roasted coffee beans and chocolate, as well as medium notes of roasted malt, leading to a roasted, dry, coffee finish. Nice one.

On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It’s a black beer with a small, tan head. Lovely coffee nose with indications of a pleasant sweetness to show up in the flavor. Roasted and slightly berry-ish too. The flavor is dry, coffee-bitter and roasted, with a dark candi-like sweetness to mellow it. Medium to full body, dry and smooth. Coffee-bitter finish. Nice, really nice and tasteful, especially considering it’s only weighing in at 4.8%. 091022

Draught at EsBF09. Mild roasted note, like unbrewed coffee. Black colour. Big stable creamy brown head. The flavour is nicely grassy, piney from the hops. Of course with a good roasted coffee note as well. Flavourful and well-balanced.
