Flaske fra Føtex delt med Johnne: Mørk brun med tynt beige skum. Aroma og smak av røstet malt og kaffe, med snev av lakrissødme og humle mot slutten. Godt tilbudsøl på Føtex!

Sweet malty nose. Pale brown head. Dark brownish red clear color. Malty roasty mild syrup taste. Some hops too. Dark fruits and a hint of chocolate.

Good brown ale, full bread-like body with hints of chocolate and toffee. Sweet aftertaste.

Kaatuu lasiin tummanruskeana ja hieman valoa reunoilta läpäisevänä, vaahto on sormen paksuinen ja maitokahvin värinen. Pitsiäkin jää reunalle. Haju on paahteisen ruisleipäinen, yrttinen, suklaista maltaisuutta ja hedelmääkin. Kaikkia melko tasaisesti, paahteisuus erottuu hieman enemmän. Melko tasapainoinen ja miellyttävä haju. Maku on huomattavan leipäisen maltainen. Muita erottuvia makuja on selkeämmin suklaa (lopussa yllättävänkin vahvana), mausteisuus ja paahteisuus. Suutuntuma on melko mieto ja hieman humalan puraisua on joukossa. Hiilihappoa on yllättävänkin vähän. Melko maistuva, muttei kovin yllättävä brown ale. Suklaisuus on yllättävänkin vahvaa, mikä miellyttää.

50cl bottle. Dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Roasted malt in the aroma with notes of dark chocolate and caramel. Flavor is a bit sweet, toasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and some chocolate. Medium body, slight bitternss in the finish.

nutty malty aroma, dark brown / black colour, tan head. light bitter and sweetness. light body. no real finish. a bit dissappointing, but not bad.

Bottle. Very dark cola color, near black with a medium thin beige head. Aroma of smoke, peat and coffee. Flavors are roasted malt, licorice and smoke. Some hops in finish. Slick feel. Not far from a stout.

Bottle from Irma, Copenhagen. An appealing glowing dark brown in colour, with a with thin dissipating tan head. Dark fruity and nutty nuances are most prominent, has some wood, grass in there as well, has some underplayed hop character but is still there, and overall i think it works pretty well. Nice.

Bottled (from Alko, Vaasa). Very deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized brown foamy head. Aroma is nutty, ripe fruity and some birch sap as well. Flavour is wooden, a bit toasted, some mild nuttyness as well as some slight ripe fruityness. Nice bitterness in the finish.

Pours treacle black with a creamy head. This is a 100% organic beer. This is a very smooth porter type beer.
