COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - dark brown colour with a beige foam; aromatic hops in the front with a biscuity maltiness in the background; grilled almonds; rounded full malt body; dry aftertaste of malts and grilled almonds again - very good beer again from this brewery

Had this at Ribe Campsite, Jutland, Denmark 21-09-08 Pours dark brown. Really tasty brown ale, nutty and dark fruit show in mouth and on nose. There is some light chocolate not much in the way of bitterness, well brewed and quite decent.

600ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Very dark reddy brown. Not much aroma. Slightly lactic palate, a bit sour, but quite pleasant. Sweet maltiness. I also now notice the aroma is sour as well as the taste. A tad soapy, but quite refreshing and tangy.

(Draught at Nörrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen, 25 July 2008) Dark brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark fruit and chocolate. Fruity taste with roasted malt, dark fruit, prunes, chocolate and a nice chocolatey finish reminiscent of the Swedish milk chocolate drink Pucko. Nice and friendly beer.

Sødlig karamel, ristet malt og nødder. OK humle. Medium fyldig. God ristet og nødde eftersmag. Væsentlig bedre end mange danske Brown Ales.
