Commercial Description:
This sweet stout has been added cold water extract from a Mexican ecological single estate coffee. The result is a discrete coffee aroma that mixes with the slightly burnt licorice aromas from the dark malts combined with spices. The flavor is slightly sweet with an average palate and moderate bitterness and aftertaste.

Dark with no head and strong coffee and roasted malt flavor. Very Smooth finish. Taste was more distinguished after it had warmed up. A good Stout worthy of having again and again.

Dark brown in colour with a very thin and quick to dissipate than head, no lacing. The aroma is of light espresso, burnt malts, light smoke with a moderate sweetness. The flavour was initially of espresso, some light alcohol, toffee sweetness with a bit of chocolate. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes longer as it warms, espresso coffee and a little burnt.

This was a little thin at first but as it warmed up more and more flavours started to come out. Nice.

660ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.

Dark silky pour with no head. Aroma of sweetened coffee and roast. The flavor is wonderful. The coffee comes through in sweetened way. No real bitterness at all.

Crushed with Jakebra. Chocolate totally dominates this one. Way more than the coffee. Nothing incredibly great here, but extremely pleasant and mellow.

I thoroughly enjoyed this beer. Did a blind tasting with this, sinha stout and kalamazoo stout. This was my fav. Very very roasty ( to the point it is almost smokey) on the nose. This smokey/roastiness come out in the flavour as well along with a coffee and dark chocolate. Hops not overly noticeable but not overly sweet either. A good balance brew. Definitely a keeper.

bottled, at the prague xmas beer markets, ’08. deep black with a minimal tan head, no surprises that there is a big coffee aroma with hints of vanilla and nutmeg, some light lactic sourness, viscous texture, mild burnt bitterness, tasty stuff
