COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: 491 bottles of 37,5 cl made.

Bottle from 2007. Pours hazy chestnut colored with no head at all. Aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is sweet and rich with notes of raisins, caramel, alcohol and wood. Great beer!

Bottle. Pours an opaque dark ruby red color, lots of floaties with no head. Aroma is of lots of oak, cognac notes, and an amplified character of the regular version, lots of dark fruits with raisins and figs, caramel, brown sugar, buttery notes and little alcohol. The flavor follows the nose, with cognac notes, oak, vanilla and lots of raisins and other dark fruits like figs and dates, with some caramel, brown sugar, buttery notes and alcohol. Body is medium to full with a lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Overall a great take on Little Korkny!

bottle... medium shiny brown, thin tan head, no lace... the aroma is all smooth cognac, smells great, accented with brown sugar... the taste is equally outstanding, has me be debating my long standing belief that the bourbon is one of the best barley wines out there, brown sugar, molasses, malt, raisins and cognac, love drinking this... must try

Big thanks to Kyle for sharing this. Pours a hazy ruby amber with a gray head that starts St the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a bit of cognac and caramel underlying. Flavor starts with sweet grain that transitions to a nice cognac and caramel note.

Murky red brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of sherry, cognac, red wine, cognac, caramel, dark fruits, vanilla, and alcohol. Taste of vanilla, caramel malts, nuts, wine, cognac, dark fruits, and somewhat sharp alcohol.

QPours dark murky brown with an off white head. The aroma is sweet malts and boozy barrels very smooth. The flavor is smooth with sweet resiny malt notes that hit sharp on the palate.

Pours a ruddy orange brown with no head. Very portish nose with some oxidation. Lots of rich dark fruit, fig, spicy alcohol, raisiny. Some woody notes. Full bodied with a low carbonation and warming finish. Rich flavor, lots of raisin and dextrinous malt, caramel and wood with notes of leather.
