Draught @ Ølfestival Horsens 2006. Unclear, brown / orange color with a very small tan head. Lots of taste and aroma, malty sweetness, sugar-notes, earthy notes, spices, hops lots of alcohol (portvine)

An unclear orange-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of wood and alcohol, but also some winy notes. The flavor is very powerfully of alcohol and with loads of oranges, as well as port wine. The mouthfeel is very smooth and flat.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2009 (On tap) Unclear, dark amber with basically no head. Distinct aroma of caramel, fruit and alcohol. Very full body with lots of caramel, fruit, nuts and alcohol. Some port notes are to be found although they’re not that strong. Yumm. 281006

Draught. Hazy orange brown coloured with a small off white head. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel and port wine. Flavour of caramel, dried fruits and port.

On tap at Horsens Beerfestival. Unclear, brown-orange, with a minimum tan head. Lots of malty sweetness, sugar-notes, earthy notes and spices and hops. Some alcohol too. The flavor has alcohol, sweetness, hops and some spicy notes. Fullbodied beer with an alcohol-dominated finish. A bit unbalanced, could probably use some lagering. (061028)

Very hazy amber beer. Hops and port in the aroma. The flavour is somewhat unbalanced and full of alcohol.

Ølfestival Horsens 2006. Draught. This one was the first surprise from Nørrebro on the festival. It’s the barley wine Little Korkny Ale that has been added port wine, and that makes the ABV rise - 13%, a powerfull beer. It’s dark and reddish brown with a nice head. The aroma has a lot of port wine and dark fruit, and so does the flavour, where I find sweetness, caramel and berry sourness. It’s really nice 1626

Draught at Horsens Ølfestival. No head. Brown colour. Powerfull spicey aroma. Way too alcoholic flavor. Long finish. Creamy palate.

Draught. Reddis brown coloured. Unclear. Fluffy beige head. Loads of sweetness, fruits (prunes) and alcohol in the nose. Flavour is very porty. Sweetness, alcohol, plums and prunes and light spices. Quite complex. Is medium bodied. Ends on a quite sticky fruityness, with loads of alcoholnotes. Is very warming. Funny beer.
