Draught at brewpub (Aug/25). Dark cola, small tight tanned head. Very burned nose with roasted coffee and dry licorice, hint of wood chips and coal. Flavor is slightly tart, with coal, mintyness, coffee and licorice, very burned and dry finish. A tad light palate for the flavors, but all the more tasty.

(Draught@Nørrebro) Clear, very dark red with a small, lasting head. Salty licorice in the aroma with roasted malt and diacetyl hints. Roasted-malty flavor with licorice and some Czech-style sweetness. Medium body, silky-smooth palate, soft carbonation. Not a bad combination of Porter, dark Czech lager, and Schwarzbier.

MPA (977) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - JUL 26, 2009
Draught. Black, beige head. Nose of sugar, citrus, dark fruit and roasted malts. Reminds me a bit of a blend of citrus pop and porter. Sweet flavour of dark fruit, honey, toffee, dark malt with a pleasant bitterness and really soft, nice palate. I really enjoyed this beer.
