Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

#1999!!!!! I have waited for four fucking years to try this beer: Pour is warm reddish amber and slightly hazed with a thin dense off white almost beige colored head...resinous hops come pouring out of the glass...pine, resin, grapefruit, and pineapple...faint toastedness too...almost some pastry notes...like a pineapple danish...ha! Danish...very sweet flavors at first...caramel and molasses...very thick and chewy mouthfeel too...some pine and citric bitterness comes out towards the finish...somehow, I thought this would be more of a hop bomb, and it is really understated...good, but more like a solid barleywine...

Wow, what the hell happened here? Not sure if I got a bad bottle or what, but this was undrinkable. Pours an odd rusty brownish color. A little too dark for the style if you ask me. Aroma is strange. Hard to put my finger on it.Palate is THIN!!! Lots of roastiness on the front, which seems odd for a brewery to use roasted barley in an IIPA. Even a little bit tends to change your color and flavor profile too much. Anyway, the finish is a not too pleasing, somewhat astringent, bitterness. Then, it’s gone. Absolutely no finish at all. Drank this with a buddy and didn’t even finish the 16.9. Dumped it out. At least I won’t have to spend $10 on that again.

Very generous bonus bottle courtesy of The_Epeeist. Thank you!!
Pours cranberry colored with a nice beige head in a snifter. Smell is a lot of tea, floral scents, and hibiscus like hops along with a fair amount of caramel like malt. Very mild hops for the style. Taste is more strongly hopped than in the smell, but also fairly sweet as well and a bit mildly hopped for what I was expecting. Extremely floral, tea like hop flavor. Very unlike an American or West Coast DIPA. A tad too sweet and lightly syrupy, I thought. Nice and drinkable, but not exactly my style.

20.3 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a dark caramel color, with a sticky tan head. Aromas are caramel malts, toffee, piney hops. Flavors are mostly malts, with a spicy hop bite. Medium mouthfeel, thick body. Decent beer overall.

Amber colors with rich aroma. Flavors of strong hops, salt, and honey. Creamy palate and good bitter duration. Enjoyable.

Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark amber body with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Smell: There’s a hoppy aroma for ya. Some candyish caramel, yeah, but it’s mostly full of springtime flowers and juicy grapefruits. Taste: Caramel maltiness with a taste of toasted sugars. A jigger of liquor. The hops, mainly tasting of lemons and grapefruit rinds with only a slight floral taste impart a moderate bitterness. A hint of spruce, better late than never, I suppose, shows up for the warming, hoppy finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Nice warming alcohol presence. Drinkability: Displays a clean smoothness (a lengthy travel surely doesn’t help the hops) and malt balance that some fans of American West Coast IIPAs will definitely exoriate, but I thought it was still pretty tasty.

Bottle pours orange amber with a big and long lasting head that attaches to the glass. The aroma is of malt and freshly squeezed hop juice. The flavor sweet caramel malt, fruit, and very nicely paired hops. The balance is awesome. The palate is nice and lively and rich. The is nothing wrong with this. Not too bitter, nicely done.
