Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

Poured into snifter glass. Light caramel color. Slight alcohol scent, hint of malt which is strange for most of the IPA’s I’ve had. Extremely well balanced for an IPA let alone a double. Very easy drinking. Delicious beer.

Pours a hazy copper color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet fruit, and a juicy hop finish. Flavor is malty, caramel, fruit, and a juicy citrus hop finish.

Dark ruby, creamy & lacing off-white head. Nose intense pitchy and fresh piney hops along with huge creamy maltiness. Same goes for flavor, heavy on hops & caramel malts. Strongly bitter finish with light tingling liquorice. Full bodied and creamy palate. Not a hint of it’s strength. Great brew!
Three months later the same bottling had lost most of it’s fresh pine aromas, and developed a more barley winey character with liquorice & tobacco. Still good though (8/4/9/4/17=4.2). Think fresh with this one!

Bottle. Medium sized vanilla hue head, fair amount of lacing, transparent, carbonation noted, and an orange hue with a golden tint. Nose was malty, hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, and some caramel. Ditto for the flavor. Medium in body. Very quaffable, nice flavor, ABV well masked, not overly hoppy tasting, would drink this one again, and worthy of a try.

Bottle. Great refined double IPA. Pours with a copper color. Aromas of caramel and pine. Pretty sweet with flavors of flowers, pine, grapefruit and toffee. A well balanced on aggressive IPA, I did not miss the extreme hops of a West Coast Imperial.

aroma is thick malt, sweet caramel and a nice handfull of hops. the flavour is elegant: hoppy and strong with notes of orange, lichee and grass. nice malty base and a solid semi sweet finish with a good botterness. quite close to a barleywine in my world but nice

Bottle, from trade with eaglefan538. Ok to good arma, sweet. Citrus, tangerine in particular, and cardboard. Little balsa wood, caramel/butterscotch. Clean brownish orange color, good head and lacing. Bitter sweet flavor, like aroma, though I get a evergreen streak about it. Thick body, creamy mouthfeel, bittersweet finish. Well I see the description and it had the marks of an english ipa, Just a little off the mark to me. I got moments out of aroma, but didn’t hold up on long sniffs.

Bottle. Pours a clear ruby-amber with a large foamy off-white head and good lacing. Nice aroma of hops (resiny, piney & citrusy), plenty of fruit, caramel malt and some earthiness. Flavour is slightly sweet and quite hoppy (same hops as aroma) along with fruit, pepper and plenty of caramel malt to back it up. Nice resiny bitter finish. Some alcohol but mostly well hidden (though I could feel it afterwards). Agree with others that this borders on Barley Wine territory. Full bodied, almost syrupy mouthfeel. For such a big beer this is dangerously easy to drink, add to that how tasty it is and that makes for one wonderful DIPA. Great stuff!
