Aug 12, 2009 Bottle at PIB. Deep amber with light tan head. Aroma is crazy citrus fruits: tangerine, lemon, grapefruit along with nice pine hops and a solid caramel backdropping. Flavor is big hops of citrus, pine, caramel and toffee malts. Very well balanced and one of the better brews I had at the festival.

Aug 7, 2009 [2241-20090606] Sample. Fruity watery citrus aroma with mild toffee flower notes. Hazy, brown amber body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Nice rich sugary floral toffee malt flavour. Medium-full body. Quite tasty.

Jun 15, 2009 Bottle - Mondial de la Bière, Montréal. Hazy copper body topped with a decent beige frothy head. Strong, complex hoppy aroma with piney, fruity and toffee hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries fruity and caramel notes. It leaves a long, warming bitter aftertaste. Lovely!

Jun 11, 2009 Amazing aroma of grapefruit, lemon, and tangerines. Flavor is more of the same, the hops just shred my palate. What an outstanding beer! i loved every second of it. A hop bomb!

Jun 8, 2009 2009-06-06. Hazy dark amber body with a small beige head. (3+) Hoppy aroma, modest resin. (7+) Flavour is bitter, pleasant resiny hops throughout, modest caramel malt undertones. Long lingering hops in the aftertaste. (7+) Smooth average plus palate. (3+) Solid IPA. Bit simple at times but pleasantly assertive and enjoyable. Bottle at Mondial 2009, Montreal

Jun 7, 2009 Bottle, Mondial 2009. Dark amber. Aroma is quite sweet, piny hops, caramel and dry apricots. Very nice and rich aroma. Taste is quite complex like aroma. Very very good beer. This really sweet but I enjoyed it immensely.

Jun 6, 2009 Bu au Mondial 2009, le 3 juin (#6). Rousse thé, peu de collet. Arome extrement licoreux, houblon hypère sucre avec des notes de schotch. Goût très extrème, orge malté légrement alcoolisé, houblon amère mais il ne domminant, finission sucré. C’est bon mais c’est dure à croire que c’est une IIPA!

Flavour is dry with notes of fruit, caramel, hops and a hint of alcohol.
"Sharp" bitter finish.
