Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

Bottle. Past it’s prime. Sweet w/ a tart/acid hop profile. Good, but not great. A bit lackluster.

Pours a mostly clear medium reddish amber with a modest foamy head and some sick lacing. Fruity and tea-like hops in the aroma along with some light citrus and orange peel - with some grapefruit zest and some toffee in the malt backbone- also as I dig deeper, I get some wierd earthy wet dog hair in the aroma as well. Doughy, caramelly sweet malt flavor with lot sof citrus and piney hops for balance- more tea-like hops as well. Velvety smooth mouthfeel with a nice citrusy, and oily resin bitterness from the hops which was pretty good. Nice DIPA- borders very close to barleywine on this one.

Wonderful bottle from Boltz7555, thanks! Deep copper in color with a 1/2" head of fine bubbles upon pouring. Aromas of strong citric hops, spice, honey and a soft floral ending. This is a heavy beer that is well-balanced with malt in the midpalate and finishes with the dry/bitter hops. The flavors continue the citrus, spice and honey along with herbs and a touch of chocolate. Plenty of carbonation and really, nice complexity. A lot going on.

Funky 20.3oz bottle. Pours a translucent glowing amber brown with a slightly creamy slightly tan head that lasted throughout the glass. Smells really good, pungent hop, pine, spice and flower aroma come first backed by a sticky sweetness of toffee and caramel with a lurking hint of biscuit. Taste is mostly citrus, lemons and grapefruits with some cracker and candy at the back. Lasting bitterness hides the alcohol, also very sticky in the mouth. Very well done.

Bottle: Dark muddy orange color. Smell is sweet/sour hops. No head. Little lacing. Taste is smooth... and hops. Spicy as well. Good texture. Different Imperial IPA but good.

Bottled. Thx marsiblursi. Deep golden with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with slightly burnt caramel. Dry and grassy bitterness. Somewhat spicy with notes of chocolate.

Bottle from tbone_. Reddish dark brown color. Malt, oily citric hops, grapefruit and blackberries in the aroma. Malty, full bodied. Black berries and tannines in the flavor. Oily hops and grapefruit, lingering on in the longish aftertaste. Tobacco. Very well balanced big beer.

20.3 fl oz bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a frothy off white head that diminishes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is strong fruity citrus (tangerine, apricot and peach) hops with some caramel malt, pine and alcohol in the background.

The flavor is sweet caramel malts with lots of juicy fruits (tangerine, apricot and peach again). The finish is a pretty subdued bitterness for a DIPA and is alcoholic. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery - the carbonation that is there is pretty sharp.

Overall, a little too sweet and fruity and low on hops for a DIPA to me. This is almost a fruit beer.
