Commercial Description:
North Bridge Extreme is the brewers gift to Anders on the 1 year aniversary for the opening of Nørrebro Bryghus. It is inspired from the South-West Californian triple IPA's. It is brewed on English ale-malt, adjusted with different colormalt and spiced with enourmous amounts of hops. A dark golden extremely bitter ale with a distinct hop aroma.

Bottled. Dark amber color with small tan head. Sweet aroma with strong flowery, citrusy, herbal and piney hops as well as marmelade, caramel and honey. Bittersweet flavor with strong flowery, citrusy, piney and mentholy hops. Rich biscuity and caramelly maltiness gives a barley wine feel to it. Full bodied, chewy, soft and rounded mouthfeel. Well made and tasty!

Poured a deep orange color, very nice pillowy, even rocky head, excellent retention, getting larger over time if anything, nearly continuous lacing, much like a nitrogen induced head. The aroma was full floral hops, some citrus, caramel, tea bags. Flavor followed the aroma, full bitter finish, tingly carbonated touch to it all, again quite bitter, unfortunately a tad boozey too. Full bodied mouthfeel, definitely a worthy dIPA bitterness and full malt bill, but not my preference of flavors. Holy cow, did I really pay $14 for this thing? Makes me want to rate it even lower!!!

Thanks Santa! Rich copper, big old slightly tan white head. Nose is big pine resin, some vanilla and caramel along with butterscotch candy. Flavor is butterscotch & earthy hops, plenty of tingles and a slight mint along with a strong malt presence. Nice.

This one is a mostly clear, deep, dark orange-amber color. A large, frothy, clumpy, cream colored head shows excellent retention. Large, thick clumps of lacing cling to the glass effortlessly. The aroma is well balanced and very fresh. Malty caramel and buttery toffee lay the groundwork for hoppy grapefruit, fresh orange juice, and a touch of smooth peaches and cream. The flavor is big and malty up front, with caramel and rich toffee again showing strong. Grapefruit rushes in, adding significant bitter hop notes, while fresh oranges, and perhaps even a touch of tropical mango, add sweetness and tranquility. Expertly balanced, with a smooth, medium-full body. Finishes long, transitioning from wet and malty to dry and hoppy. Very, very good beer.

bottle from my secret santa, thanks! pours a rich amber with a full off-white head and decent lacing. aroma is a bit perfumy but also has some grainy malt and a touch of citrus. flavor has more grainy malts, caramelized sugars along with some pleasant tropical fruits and decent bitterness on the tail end. very enjoyable brew.

Poured a deep amber-copper body with a foamy beige head. Big sticky malty-hoppy flavor. Mildly cloying. FInished syrupy and big. Very nice, but a palate killer, for sure.

A true winner, smells of deep dark malts with caramel, and toffee aroma. Deep dark malts with rich flavors. The look is fantastic with a reddish-brown look. Taste is rich and most flavorful. a real winner.

The aroma is very hoppy with soap and citrus, there is also caramel. The appearance is amber with a nice head. The flavor is malty and hoppy but more roasted than most IIPA. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s good.
