| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Sampled at Ebeneezer’s Pub in Lovell, ME. Amber in color with a medium head. Aroma is caramel soaked orange and pineapple- a good amount of hops and a ton of malt. Taste is malty with citrus- some mango, and an underlying piney bitterness. this might have been alot better had it been a bit fresher- but was a bit too syrupy. hopson (594), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 30, 2007 bottle- touts balance, but in reality, this beer does not deliver enough hop flavor. More sweetness comes through than anything, but a fine beer nonetheless. Not worth the very expensive price tag. Great Alesmith like aroma. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2007 Bottle. Beautiful clear amber body, nice off-white head, sweet nose with honeyed notes. Sweet body, honey, moderate bitterness in the finish, lacks hop character. The only extreme thing about this beer was the price. Pleasant but not outstanding. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Pours a clean, syrupy looking mahogany red body with a small but sticky beige head. Aroma is earthy and citrusy hops, carmel, and sweet banana bread. Flavors are more bready than anything. Plenty of dry earthy hop flavors with som smooth carmel and a shot of alcohol in the finish. The yeast flavor in this beer balances things out nicely and really makes it drinkable. BückDich (4847), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Bottle: Clear ruby, mahogany color, nice alive head. Nose of ginger, wood, cotton, bright nobles, pride of ringwood? Light fruit. The flavor is puffy like disolving cotton candy, sweet caramels and marris otter, light bitterness, honey and acid. Bright and hoppy, pleasant malts, surprisingly sweet, more barleywineish. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 28, 2007 Bottle: Pours a reddish amber with a medium beige head. Piney, citrus, and a little caramel right up front. Taste profile is more malty than hop oriented, features a nice caramel taste. Fruity, citrus, and hints of toffee. Kind of like a softer BW and very drinkable. Thanks Chad. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
